I don’t always use headphones when I’m checking out new tracks for the blog. (This, of course, is a great plan because we all know how wonderful music sounds over tinny laptop speakers.) So, it was just plain luck that I happened to have my headphones on when I was checking out the new track from Trevor Power’s Youth Lagoon.

Now, I don’t ever want to listen to it without headphones.

“Mute” is the second track that’s been released from Youth Lagoon’s Wondrous Bughouse, which will be released March 5th via Fat Possum. And yes, you need to put your headphones on for this:
