watch: “paradise” – wild nothing
Sometimes, I think air travel gets a bad rap. Sure, there’s the TSA agents, the delayed flights, and the general terribleness that comes with being around so many people at once.
But once the plane actually takes off and you are tens of thousands of feet in the sky, chilling with clouds, even the cynics (myself included) have to be a little bit in awe. I put on a pair of noise-canceling headphones, cue up my of my favorite albums, and bliss out for the next few hours. In a way (and with enough Valium), it can be paradise.Somebody must agree with me, because Wild Nothing’s new video for the track “Paradise” features just that concept. The video was directed by Matthew Amato and it features your favorite a member of “Dawson’s Creek,” Michelle Williams.
Listen for: Williams reading from Iris Murdoch’s 1975 novel A Word Child at 2:06.
Wild Nothing‘s latest album Nocturne is out now via Captured Tracks. You can also still grab the mp3 of the track below:

I relly like the song and they are a good band
dont like the videoclip that much though.
If you haven’t already, check out Wild Nothing’s most recent album. If you liked this, you’ll love it.
I love this especially the simplistic upstaged nature of the video. I just went on a flight so it was made even more beautiful to me.
Yeah – some videos can get a little overly staged/artistic, I think.
With enough Valium HA. I kind of get what your saying.. I love the clouds and I like turning EVERYTHING OFF and just enjoying silence, but one look out the window I realize there are 2 thin pieces of metal between ME and 30Thousand ft. SO I may need 2 Valium!
Haha, fair enough!
