listen: “moonlight mile” – the babies
The Babies have been busy.
The garage rock band, featuring Cassie Ramone (Vivian Girls) and Kevin Morby (Woods), released their debut album last year, then followed that up with a six-song EP in January. Now, they’re preparing a new full-length, Our House On the Hill, which will be released this fall on Woodsist, the label founded by Woods’ Jeremy Earl.
The first single from that upcoming release, “Moonlight Mile,” is being released as a 7″ on August 14th b/w the non-album track “Places”. Take a listen to the psych-pop inspired A-side below:
Fun Fact to Impress Your Friends: The Rolling Stones also have a song entitled “Moonlight Mile,” but no, this is not a cover of that song.

Yeah, it’s a solid track. I saw the 7″ is limited to 1,000 copies, so you might wanna preorder.
