Canadian rock duo Japandroids is back with their follow-up to 2009′s breakout Post-Nothing with a new album, Celebration Rock, out June 5th via Polyvinyl.  (For vinyl lovers, they’re making a limited edition LPs on red vinyl, which can you pre-order here.)

The band has posted a new single off that album, “The House That Heaven Built”, which you can listen to below.

The song features pounding guitars and drums, accompanied by a chorus that begs you to sing along.  Fans of Post-Nothing will definitely be pleased.  If you don’t want to wait for the album release in June, the song will be released as a 7″ on June 5th, b/w a cover of Nick Cave’s “Jack The Ripper”.

Japandroids will be out on tour in support of the new album, hitting Europe & the UK in late May before a North American tour in June & July.  The band put on a great show, so don’t miss them if they’re heading to your city.
