watch: “the kids were wrong” – memoryhouse

Dream pop duo Memoryhouse recently released their first full-length, The Slideshow Effect, on Sub Pop, and they’ve got a video for the track ”The Kids Were Wrong”.

Departing from the slow, hazy sound on their EP The Years, this track features a stronger beat and a faster tempo. Though I loved the slow vibe on the EP, the speed definitely works to keep the song moving.

Meanwhile, the band is out on an extensive tour in support of their new album. They’re touring Europe until mid-April, then they’ll be back doing a slew of dates.
